SUMMARY:
Join a renowned global clearing and forwarding agency as their next Manager focussing on seafreight forwarding and consolidations.

POSITION INFO:
Our client is looking for a specialist seafreight leader to spearhead their seafreight forwarding and NVOCC department.

With 8 direct reports and a growing team, you will be responsible for the following:

Managing the forwarding desk in Johannesburg Sea freight division.
Managing and overseeing the forwarding operations and carrier bookings with the forwarding operations team.
Manage, maintain, and maximise NVOCC groupage boxes.
Groupage & LCL Volumes.
Manage and oversee the freight movement of cargo.
Reports.
Market Intelligence.
Products/Sales.
Managing Service Providers.
Management of NVOCC Seafreight channel.
Financial Management.
Cost sheet level sign off.
Comply with the requirements of the quality management system.

Requirements:

Matric.
NQF5 preferable.
Minimum 10 years experience in seafreight within clearing and forwarding.
Minimum 3 years experience in a similar management role.
ShipShape experience advantageous.
