Section Engineer - Plant

SUMMARY:
Our client in the Mining Industry has an opportunity available for a Section Engineer - Plant to be based near the Burgersfort, Limpopo area.

POSITION INFO:
Requirements:

• Degree or National Diploma: Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Certificate: GCC Mines and Works.
• Code 08 (EB) Driver’s Licence.
• Advantageous: Management Development Programme/Masters of Business Administration.
• Advantageous: Engineering Council of South Africa accreditation and registration.
• Advantageous: AMRE/ISAME/ICMEE Membership.
• Prior experience in Section 2.13.3.1/ 2.13.1 appointment.
• 5 years extensive practical experience in an Engineering and Production environment.
• 2 years extensive practical experience as a Junior Engineer.
• 5 years maintenance experience in a mining environment (Chrome or Platinum process plant).
• 5 years Multi-disciplinary Engineering experience.

KPAs:

• Ensure efficient and effective execution of Asset Management Strategy for the mine.
• Coordinate mining operations to ensure optimum and cost effective recovery of the Ore in accordance with sound mining practice to ensure the attainment of Department’s production objectives.
• Process and system management.
• Budget and cost control.
