Section Leader

SUMMARY:
Section Leader (Contract) with solid experience in managing the Execution and Detailed Design of large scale Process Plant and/or Mining Projects.

POSITION INFO:

Job Requirements:

• Responsible for producing the Design Office deliverables for the project to the correct standard within the project’s nominated time frame and budget.
• Manage the interface between the Project Execution team and the Engineering Design Office.
• Interface with Discipline Leads within companies Design Office to assist in resourcing the project on a discipline level during the projects’ lifecycle.
• Manage and communicate with external Fabricators and Shop Detail offices.
• Develop and manage the Project Drawing Register to comply with a clearly defined work breakdown structure (WBS) and a project execution schedule.
• Produce all Drawing office progress reports within Vault.
• Record and manage TDN and Change notifications within Vault.
• Attend and report at Project Drawing Reviews.
• Attend and report at Project Progress Meetings.

• Good knowledge of all or most of the following software packages.
• 3D AutoCAD, Advance Steel, Plant 3D, Revit, Navisworks, Microsoft Excel.

• Autodesk Vault.
• BIM360 Docs.
