Sector Head: Water (South & East Africa) 📍 Location: KwaZulu-Natal (preferred) or Johannesburg, with travel as required A leading international engineering consultancy is looking for an experienced Sector Head: Water to provide strategic and technical leadership across its Water business in South Africa. This executive role will lead multidisciplinary teams, oversee the successful delivery of major water infrastructure projects, and drive business growth, operational excellence and commercial performance. The successful candidate will play a key role in shaping the future of the Water sector while maintaining strong client relationships and delivering high-quality engineering solutions. Key Responsibilities Lead the national Water business and provide strategic direction. Oversee the delivery of major Water & Wastewater Treatment Works (WTW & WWTW), dams, bulk water supply, pipelines, reservoirs, pump stations and hydraulic infrastructure projects. Ensure technical excellence, project performance, governance and commercial success across the sector. Develop and maintain strong relationships with municipalities, water boards and key clients. Mentor and lead multidisciplinary engineering teams while supporting business development and major tenders. Minimum Requirements ✔ BSc Eng \/ BEng Civil Engineering (or equivalent) ✔ Registered with ECSA as a Professional Engineer (Pr Eng) ✔ Minimum 15 years'' consulting engineering experience within the Water sector ✔ Extensive experience in Water & Wastewater Treatment Works, dams, bulk water supply, pipelines, pump stations and reservoirs ✔ Proven leadership of multidisciplinary engineering teams with strong commercial, project management and stakeholder engagement experience. 📩 To apply, please email your CV to:
