Sector Specialist: Social Infrastructure

POSITION INFO:

Purpose of the role:

To support both the Listed and Unlisted teams with the generation of well researched investment ideas, industry leading sector knowledge, strategic initiatives and contribute to growth in assets under management.

Requirements:

Minimum Requirements

• At least 7 years’ relevant sector experience in social infrastructure research or equity analyst covering healthcare/education/properties
• Post graduate qualification in Commerce, Finance or equivalent relevant Master’s degree/MBA/CFA would be preferred.
• Experience in undertaking research with implications for the economy and investments is
• Experience of implementing research views in portfolios would be highly
• Must possess the desire and ability to work in a collaborative and intensive team-orientated environment
• FAIS RE5 Certificate or it must be obtained within 6 months of employment

Preferred Qualifications

• Post Graduate Degree in Commerce, Finance

Professional Body/Association

• CFA/CA or other

Duties:

• Produce Industry leading proprietary research that generates Investment views and ideas in social infrastructure sectors (education, healthcare, affordable housing, student accommdation and water & sanitation).
• Identify investment opportunities in social
• Undertake thematic research and thought leadership pieces in social
• Develop and update sector investment strategies for social
• Undertake market research analysis for unlisted
• Support the unlisted deal teams during due diligence process and in evaluating potential
• Work with senior analysts and research
