POSITION INFO:

Main purpose of the job:
Monitor backups to ensure data recovery is taking place. Monitor alerts and N-Able administration
process.

Location:
31 Princess of Wales Terrace Parktown

Key performance areas:

• Monitor Arcserve and end users in N- Able.
• Escalation of concerns
• Troubleshoot
• Stakeholder engagement and support
• Report malicious activity and risk logins
• Monitoring and knowledge of ATP (Advanced Threat Protection).

Required minimum education and training:

• Relevant Degree or Diploma

Required minimum work experience:

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience with backup and security software.

Desirable additional education, work experience and personal abilities:

• Verbal and written communication.
• Strong problem-solving skills will be desirable.
• Experience and relevant training in, monitoring backups, data recovery and N-Able.
• A solid knowledge of backup and security system support and troubleshooting procedures.
• Able to communicate complex situations quickly and clearly to people with a variety of technical skills.
• Ability to exercise discretion, work independently and as a part of a multi-disciplinary team.
• Ability to effectively listen to customers and respond to their requests.
• Ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines in an ever-changing environment
