POSITION INFO:
We are looking for a Security Architect to join the team with the following skills:

Job Purpose:
Define the security architecture framework for the enterprise. Be recognised as the subject matter expert in one or more areas to the expertise field, including but not limited to: Current Architecture, Network Security, Application Security and Infrastructure Security. Works as an advocate and liaises with InfoSec, Group Risk, Business and the Enterprise Architects researching technology trends in the field. Facilitates the development of the right future-state architecture and ensures its effective adoption. Can compile an effective threat analysis. Keep updated on the latest developments in the industry from a threat and technology perspective.

• Number of version updates of the Future-State Enterprise Security Architecture over the past 12 months
• Decrease in Enterprise Security Technical Debt over the past 12 months
• Number of deviations from Enterprise Security Technology Standards over the past 12 months

• Primary focus is on the development of the Enterprise-level future view w.r.t. Enterprise Security
• Focus will include all supporting artefacts required to effectively and professionally deliver the Enterprise-level future view, including Principles, Standards, Reference Architectures, Patterns and Services
• This role scope will include Solution Architecture where required by the organisation

• Work with the ICT security operations team members, IT infrastructure personnel, and network and / or operations teams, to ensure the implemented technologies are integrated and fully utilized as intended in the protection of Company's assets.
• Serve as an active member of incident response teams and participate in security incident response efforts by having an in-depth knowledge of common security exploits, vulnerabilities and countermeasures.
• Act as a technical consultant on information security incident investigations and forensic technical analyses.
• Support the disaster recovery exercises for the areas of responsibility.
• Participate and provide evidence in ICT compliance activities in support of internal and/or external audits.
• Communicate effectively at different levels within and outside the organization - leadership/management, business stakeholders, software vendors and sourcing suppliers.
• Develop and foster strategic relationships and establish key organizational partnerships.
• Establish collaborative working relationships with the businesses, functions and regions to ensure that ICT solutions align with security architecture and business strategy.
• Establish and maintain strong working relationships with groups involved with information security matters such as the Legal Department, Internal Audit Department, Physical Security Department, Information

• Bachelor’s degree in either Electronic or Computer Engineering or Computer Science
• Honours or Masters Degree (or higher) in either Electronic or Computer Engineering or Computer Science
• SABSA Foundation Training
• CISSP/CISA/CISM/FFIEC

• 4-6 Years’ experience as Capabiity Architect II: Security
• Total experience security architecture 10+ Years

• Ability to write speeches and IT articles for publication
• Knowledge of Information System Design
