JOB SUMMARY:
Our client in the Banking Industry, has an EE opportunity available for a Security Technical Consultant in the Tshwane area.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Research or Security, or an equivalent NQF7 qualification
Minimum of 3-6 years of working experience in process engineering/analysis, or related job experience
Industry, organisational and business awareness, knowledge and skill
Electronic security systems knowledge
Cyber- and information security management knowledge
Security risk assessment knowledge
Physical access control knowledge
Environmental security management knowledge
Information management knowledge
Report-writing knowledge and skill

KPAs:

Continuously scan the security environment in order to identify focus areas for further research by the senior research team
Provide inputs in terms of prioritising focus areas for further research by the senior research team
Analyse and scrutinise business operations, processes, systems and technology in a methodical manner in order to identify potential research topics
Collect and analyse information in support of the senior researcher capability
Capture information on the database structures on a regular basis to ensure that the repository is updated with the latest information
Proactively broaden knowledge of functional area, displaying willingness to make improvements in the section (including methods and practices)
