POSITION INFO:

Our client a Global Tech firm is seeking 2 Security Technology Architect to join their team in Pretoria on a Contract basis. Our client offers great benefits, stability, growth and an attractive salary.

Description

Our client requires a Security Technology Architect with solid experience with various relevant Physical and Information Security capabilities and approaches, e.g., identity and access management, encryption, etc.

Requirements

• BCom Informatics / BSc Computer Science / BSc Engineering degree; or industry-specific qualifications or an equivalent (TOGAF 9.1 Certified and SABSA Foundation Certified in particular, while Security Industry Certifications like CISSP-ISSAP, GSE, CGEIT, or others may be advantageous); and a minimum of 8-10 years’ experience in requirements or risk analysis, security architecture, design, enterprise architecture or solutions architecture, with at least three years in a team leader / member / coaching role.
•  A postgraduate qualification in a relevant field would be an added advantage.

Experience expected:

• Solid experience with regard to making trade-offs between various
• security options to address a particular Physical and Information Security
• requirement;
• Solid experience with various relevant Physical and Information
• Security capabilities and approaches, e.g., identity and access management,
• encryption, etc.
• Experience with extracting, defining and communicating principles
• for Physical and Information security, both from functional and non-functional
• perspectives;
• Ability to participate and influence technical decisions in a
• fast-moving environment;
• Experience of large-scale transformation and migration projects;
• Experience with several Physical and Information Security related
• products;
• Ability to provide high quality documentation that is suitable for
• a wide range of audiences and purposes with strong customer facing
• interpersonal skills;
• Ability to act as a thought-leader for Physical and Information
• security.
