Semi – Skilled Pump Fitter

SUMMARY:
Our client who is actively involved in the design of high-pressure equipment for industrial and mining application is looking for a Semi -Skilled Pump Fitter to join their organisation. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about pumps and mechanical systems.
 

POSITION INFO:
Area : Honeydew Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent. Previous experience in a similar role or mechanical background is preferred. Basic knowledge of pumps and pumping systems. Familiarity with hand and power tools used in pump installation and maintenance. Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and drawings. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Excellent teamwork and communication skills. Ability to work independently and follow instructions. Physical fitness and ability to lift heavy equipment when required. Valid driver's license. Responsibilities: Assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of various types of pumps and pumping systems. Perform basic troubleshooting and diagnostic tasks to identify pump malfunctions and recommend appropriate repairs. Collaborate with the team to ensure efficient and timely completion of pump-related projects. Assist in assembling and disassembling pump components for repair or replacement. Conduct regular inspections to identify potential issues and perform preventive maintenance tasks. Follow safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment. Keep accurate records of maintenance and repair work performed.
