Senior Accountant

SUMMARY:

POSITION INFO:

Oversee the complete accounting operations across multiple entities
Compile and analyze financial statements on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis
Ensure compliance with relevant tax laws, accounting standards, and company policies
Review and authorize supplier account reconciliations
Conduct and manage bank, general ledger, and intercompany account reconciliations
Monitor and report on company cash flows and handle cash drawdown requests
Support the development of annual budgets and periodic financial forecasts
Lead the month-end and year-end close processes to ensure timely and accurate reporting
Provide documentation and detailed schedules for both internal and external audit purposes
Supervise and mentor junior finance team members, including onboarding and training
Coordinate prompt and accurate processing of payments to vendors
Contribute to the enhancement of accounting procedures and recommend process improvements
Maintain and update the fixed asset register, including calculation of depreciation
Participate in rolling out financial control measures and assist with finance system automation
Safeguard the reliability and integrity of financial data and reporting practices

Skills & Experience:
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and regulations (IFRS or IFRS for SMEs)
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Navision, Oracle, or equivalent)
Advanced Excel skills and comfort working with large data sets
Good communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
Experience in manufacturing

Qualification:
ACMA, CGMA, AGA(SA), PA(SA) or ACCA
Minimum 5 years + experience
