POSITION INFO:
Senior Accountant - Johannesburg North

We’re looking for a Senior Accountant who doesn’t just keep the books, but builds the backbone of the financial engine. If you’re passionate about precision, thrive in fast-paced environments, and want to be part of something game-changing, then this is your seat at the table.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes
Own budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
Ensure full compliance with IFRS and SA tax regulations
Partner cross-functionally with tech, product, and operations teams
Prepare for audits, manage risk, and support investor reporting

Job Experience & Skills Required (Ideal Candidate Profile):

BCom in Accounting or Finance (Honours or CA(SA) preferred)
5+ years in a senior accounting or financial role
Experience in Fintech, Tech, or Financial Services is highly advantageous
Strong understanding of IFRS, SARS regulations, and financial systems (e.g., Xero and NetSuite)
