POSITION INFO:

Supporting of the management team
Implementation of quality and management policies and procedures
Promoting good teamwork
Dedicated accountant to the mining companies and the related duties thereto including all reporting requirements including comprehensive monthly reporting and tax submissions
Monthly accounting, reporting for the full financial accounting cycle
Interaction with the relevant mine operations teams
Drafting and reviewing of financial statements in terms of the various accounting and financial reporting standards
Performance of accounting related functions and reviewing thereof
Monitoring and adherence to time and performance budgets
Performing tax related duties including but not limited to VAT, PAYE, Income tax .
Review of work performed by co-workers in line with accounting and firm standards
Improving client service standards
Research regarding new developments and legislative amendments applicable to our profession and practice.
Monitoring and implementing information technology automating and marketing it in terms of practice's Xero and related strategy
Implementing Xero and related software for clients and be part of the Xero Hero team
Improving staff relationships with key management and directors
Improving of firm quality of work and service standards
Improving production and effectiveness of the firm
Assisting the office to maintain and improve its production and billing
Assistance with marketing of the firm and its services
Assistance with Practice improvement and administration
Any other related and related task in execution of the above

Skills & Experience:
Detail Orientated

Team player
Billingual in Afrikaans and English

Qualification:
Degree + articles (signed off)
Minimum 1-2 years post advantageous
