SUMMARY:
Join one of South Africa’s most respected names in the financial services and insurance sector. As a Senior Accountant, you’ll play a key role in driving accurate reporting, ensuring compliance, and providing valuable financial insights that support strategic decisions.

POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities:

Manage and oversee the preparation of monthly and annual financial statements.
Drive budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis processes.
Ensure compliance with IFRS, internal controls, and audit requirements.
Collaborate with finance, actuarial, and operational teams to optimise reporting and performance insights.
Mentor junior accountants and contribute to process improvement initiatives.

Job Experience and Skills Required:

Education: BCom Accounting or similar; completed CIMA / AGA(SA) (essential).
Experience: 4–5 years’ solid experience within the insurance or financial services industry.
Advanced technical accounting skills and strong IFRS knowledge.
Excellent Excel and system proficiency (SAP, Oracle, or equivalent).
Confident communicator, analytical thinker, and strong attention to detail.
