Job & Company Description
A reputable organisation within the engineering and mining sector is seeking a highly competent Senior Accountant to join their finance team, based in Centurion.
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing reporting, managing a team, and driving financial accuracy across the business. This opportunity is ideal for a strong finance professional with post-articles experience and proven managerial exposure.

POSITION INFO:
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Oversee full financial accounting and reporting functions
- Prepare monthly management accounts and financial statements
- Lead and manage a finance team (direct reports)
- Perform balance sheet reviews and reconciliations
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
- Ensure strong financial controls and compliance
- Support external audit processes
- Engage with operational and senior management
- Provide insights to support business decision-making

Qualifications & Experience:
- BCom degree required
- SAIPA qualification preferred
- Minimum 3 years’ post-articles experience
- Experience in engineering or mining environment beneficial
- Managerial experience essential
- Strong reporting experience required
- High attention to detail and strong technical ability
