Senior Accountant

SUMMARY:
A prominent creative organization with international roots is looking for a senior accountant to join their finance team. The ideal candidate must possess a flexible and adaptable attitude, be positive, proactive, build working relationships within the finance team and agencies as well as supporting the senior accountant with the day-to-day financial accounting and reporting duties. POSITION INFO:

This position involves:
Engaging and partnering closely with key stakeholders across the business and within the finance team daily
Ensuring recorded transactions is technically compliant
Preparing of month end reports (banks, balance sheet reconciliations, general ledgers, prepayments, accruals schedules)
Updating the Fixed Asset register and journals
Overseeing invoicing and confirmations
Assisting with year-end-budgets, monthly management accounts, PAYROLL TAX, FBT, BAS
Attending team meetings
Providing feedback and assistance on processing documentation

Experience:
Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience
Experience in shared services, creative environment (advantageous)
Experience in using ERP systems and Spectra PF (BCC) (advantageous)

Qualification:
BCom Accounting
BCom Honours (advantageous)
Articles (advantageous)
