POSITION INFO:
As a Senior Accountant, you will join a high-performing finance team and play a pivotal role in managing the full finance function, ensuring financial integrity, driving compliance, and supporting strategic business objectives. This position offers exposure to a complex manufacturing environment where accuracy, efficiency, and commercial insight are highly valued. Key Responsibilities: Oversee and manage the full accounting function. Prepare monthly management accounts and financial statements. Perform and review balance sheet and general ledger reconciliations. Manage month-end and year-end reporting processes. Ensure compliance with IFRS, tax regulations, and internal controls. Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management. Support internal and external audit processes. Analyse financial results and provide recommendations to management. Monitor and improve financial controls and accounting processes. Mentor and guide junior finance team members. Job Experience and Skills Required: Education: BCom Accounting Degree Completed SAICA or SAIPA Articles Experience: 4-6 years' experience in an Accountant or Senior Accountant role. Previous manufacturing industry experience is highly advantageous. Proven experience managing the full finance function. Strong background in financial reporting, reconciliations, budgeting, and compliance. Apply now!
