SUMMARY:
Our client is seeking an experienced and commercially minded Senior Financial Accountant to take ownership of the operational finance function and play a key role in ensuring the ongoing integrity of the company's financial information.
This is a hands-on position suited to an individual who enjoys being close to the numbers and takes personal accountability for the accuracy of financial reporting. The successful candidate will partner closely with both finance and operational teams, ensuring financial information is reliable, controls remain robust, and reporting deadlines are consistently achieved.

POSITION INFO:
Job Description: Taking full ownership of the financial accounting function and ensuring the accuracy of financial results Maintaining the integrity of balance sheet accounts through thorough reconciliation and review processes Overseeing the accounts receivable and accounts payable functions to support effective working capital management Monitoring cash flow and liquidity requirements, ensuring the business is appropriately positioned to meet its obligations Managing the month-end close process and delivering accurate financial information within agreed timelines Reviewing and strengthening financial controls, identifying opportunities to minimise risk and improve compliance Partnering with operational stakeholders to ensure financial transactions are accurately reflected and appropriately supported Driving continuous improvement initiatives, streamlining processes, and implementing efficiencies across the finance function Supporting business growth through effective financial oversight, analysis, and operational decision-making Skills & Experience: Financial analysis Month-end reporting Minimum 5 years + commercial experience Qualification: Finance-related Degree Connect with us on and Register your CV to create a profile and to view all our Financial recruitment vacancies.
