SUMMARY:
Accountant in practice (SAIPA/AGA) - George - Western Cape

POSITION INFO:

Our client - an Accounting firm - based in George is looking to employ a Senior Accountant (Compilation of Financial Statements).

Requirements: 

• BCom Degree or equivalent in Accounting 
• Completed SAIPA/ AGA Articles 
• Caseware Working Papers
• Sage One 
• Microsoft Office Software 

Technical expertise to perform and review:

• Compilation of financial statements
• IFRS for SMEs working knowledge
• Thorough Income tax knowledge for Companies, CCs, Trusts, and Individuals

Further duties & responsibilities:

• The client base is served in a timely manner
• Requesting information from customers
• Review junior team member’s work
• On-the-job training and development of junior members
• Check and finalize taxes of assistants in his team
• Provisional tax calculations
• Assist in Iterate office guidelines for the team
• Maintain strong customer relationships
• Good communicator with customers and colleagues
• Strong management skills, leadership, and organizational abilities
