A well-established software company, boasting with multi-national clients, seeks an experienced and analytical Accountant to join their finance team. The offices are based in Johannesburg North. Currently all staff is working from home, thus the successful candidate will need a reliable internet connection.

A well-established software company, boasting with multi-national clients, seeks an experienced and analytical Accountant to join their finance team.

The offices are based in Johannesburg North. Currently all staff is working from home, thus the successful candidate will need a reliable internet connection.

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing key financial and management accounting duties. Role will include management of a small team and reporting to the Financial Director.

Duties include, but not limited to:

General ledger and balance sheet recons

Group Reporting

Monthly, quarterly and year-end closing processes

Asset Management

Debtors and creditors

Income Tax / VAT Returns

Manage annual financial statement processes

Treasury management

Education:

Bachelor degree in accounting / finance

Job Experience & Skills Required:

SAICA / SAIPA articles completed will be beneficial

6 to 8 years'' experience in a full finance function role

Advanced Microsoft Excel skills

Ability to work under pressure

Meticulous attention to detail and high level of accuracy

Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
