SUMMARY:
Qualified Accountant, preferably with B.Comm Degree and completed SAIPA Articles and minimum 5 years Accounting and Treasury experience, required to start asap.

POSITION INFO:

Qualified Accountant, preferably with B.Comm Degree and completed SAIPA Articles and minimum 5 years Accounting and Treasury experience, required to start asap.

Minimum requirements:

B.Comm Degree required
Completed SAIPA Articles preferred
Minimum 5 years’ relevant accounting and treasury experience essential
Experience in a supervisory role required

Responsibilities:

Accounts – manage foreign and local accounts and bank accounts, cashflow and monitor all incoming and outgoing funds
Approve all payment
Manage monthly reconciliations
Balance GL and Bank Statements
Book forex transactions
Foreign loans
Shipping administration – Imports & Exports
Cash flow management and reporting
Reporting month-end on bank recons revaluations (foreign exchange contracts etc)
Report on overseas creditors revaluations
Accounting, Auditing & Tax
Insurance – declarations on all imports and ensure payments are done
People Management
