JOB SUMMARY:

Our client, a reputable accounting firm, is looking to fill the position of Senior Accountant soonest.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

What we are looking for:

We are looking for a Qualified Accountant (Saipa or Saica) that can look after clients as a whole regarding their financial needs and expectations.
Must have experience in the field for at least 3 to 5 years in a similar role.
Able to work with software such as Pastel / Xero or any other accounting software.
Caseware experience will count in your favour
The right candidate must be conversant with Income tax and Statutory taxes and returns including VAT, PAYE, UIF, SDL, and COIDA, especially from a practical perspective including being conversant with SARS’ e-filing and SARS’ Easy-File;
The candidate must be able to manage a team of about 3 staff members that will assist them with their duties.

Minimum Requirements:

SAICA or SAIPA registered
Own a Vehicle and have Clean Credit and Criminal Record
Knowledge of Pastel and related accounting software
Knowledge of Caseware
3 to 5 years post article experience
