Senior Accountant - Body Corporates

SUMMARY:
Our client, in the Finance Sector, has an opportunity available for a Senior Accountant - Body Corporates in the Gqeberha (Port Elizabeth) area.

POSITION INFO:

Education and Experience Requirements:

• BCom Accounting Degree
• Must be able to do AFS
• Handling of Body Corporate Audits
• Audit and Caseware experience advantageous
• Ability to work under pressure in a deadline driven environment
• Microsoft Office - Excel and Word, Windows
• Working experience in Pastel

KPAs:

• Perform vouching tests during an audit of Body Corporates to verify completeness, existence, accuracy, valuation, ownership and presentation
• Complete a tax return for body corporates
• Completion of statutory returns e.g. UIF/SDL/PAYE/VAT
• Calculation of PAYE/UIF/SDL levies and VAT
• Tax planning – e.g. fringe benefits and allowances
