POSITION INFO:

A global leader in innovation and technology, is looking for a Senior Accounts Payable Clerk to join our high-performing Finance team.

As the Senior Accounts Payable Clerk you will responsible for the following:
Accounts Payable & Invoice Management:

• Review, verify, and process supplier invoices accurately and on time
• Maintain and enforce systems, procedures, and policies for accounts payable compliance
• Approve payments in line with company deadlines and policies
• Handle both local and foreign payments efficiently
• Monitor supplier aging accounts and resolve queries promptly
• Ensure no payables exceed 90 days

Treasury & Reporting Support:

• Assist with treasury and cash flow management
• Support month-end closing, including accruals and reconciliations
• Prepare data for management reporting via the Global Financial Validation System (GFVS)
• Manage the Control Assessment Tracking System (CATS)
• Assist with ad hoc finance tasks and reporting

Audit & Compliance:

• Act as the key contact for external auditors during audits
• Provide documentation, resolve queries, and support the audit process
• Ensure proper admin and document filing is consistently maintained

Supplier & Internal Relationship Management:

• Collaborate with vendors and internal departments to resolve overdue invoices
• Maintain positive supplier relationships and ensure satisfaction
• Supervise one direct report within the accounts payable team

Job Experience and Skills Required:
Tertiary qualification in Accounting or Finance is required
Minimum 5 years’ experience in Accounts Payable or a similar accounting role
Strong understanding of supplier management, payments, and financial systems
Able to manage a high volume of transactions and paperwork
Advanced MS Office skills, particularly Excel
