Senior Actuarial Leader – Valuations | Johannesburg

POSITION INFO:

An exciting opportunity exists for a qualified actuary to head up the corporate actuarial valuations function within a dynamic financial services group.
This is a strategic leadership and people management role, overseeing teams responsible for life and non-life valuations, reserving, and regulatory reporting.
The role includes ownership of actuarial models, solvency and capital monitoring, and end-to-end reinsurance management.
Requires 8+ years’ actuarial experience, with at least 5 years in valuations and strong knowledge of SAM, IFRS17, and insurance frameworks.
Perfect for a driven individual ready to influence actuarial policy and decision-making at an executive level.
