POSITION INFO:
We’re looking for a Senior Actuarial Specialist – Short-Term Insurance (Pricing & Data Science) to join our team and deliver data-driven insights that shape product, risk, and business decisions.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Design, implement, and enhance pricing models for short-term insurance portfolios.
• Apply advanced data science techniques to increase efficiency and drive innovation in actuarial processes.
• Provide accurate actuarial insights to inform product development, business planning, and strategic decisions.
• Support actuarial operations and administrative processes within established governance frameworks.
• Ensure that all modelling, reporting, and analyses comply with regulatory, compliance, and risk standards.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify opportunities for improved pricing, risk management, and portfolio optimisation.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Actuarial Science, Business, or a related field.
• Minimum 5+ years’ experience in actuarial work within short-term insurance.
• Strong actuarial exam progress with at least 12 exams completed.
• Proven experience in pricing and applying data science methodologies.
• Solid technical proficiency in SQL, R, Python, or similar tools, with a strong analytical mindset.
• Ability to balance technical expertise with commercial insight.
