Senior Actuarial Specialist

SUMMARY:

POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities: Lead pricing and product development initiatives across multiple portfolios Conduct pricing reviews and recommend strategies to improve profitability and sustainability Assess and evaluate new business opportunities and product offerings Review actuarial work and provide technical guidance to junior team members Partner with business stakeholders to develop innovative risk and insurance solutions Investigate experience trends and recommend corrective actions where required Support financial performance monitoring and actuarial reporting Ensure compliance with governance, audit, regulatory, and risk management requirements Act as a trusted technical advisor to management and stakeholders Contribute to strategic initiatives and continuous improvement projects Job Experience and Skills Required: Education: Actuarial Degree or Bachelor's Degree with Mathematics or Statistics as majors Associate Actuary qualification or strong progress towards Fellowship-level qualification Relevant short-term insurance examinations advantageous Experience: Minimum 5 years' actuarial experience Strong non-life pricing and actuarial modelling experience Experience within insurance or financial services environments Exposure to capital modelling and risk management frameworks advantageous Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities Advanced Excel skills SQL, Python, and\/or R advantageous Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills Strong attention to detail and commercial awareness Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities Apply now!
