POSITION INFO:
About Lifecheq: Lifecheq is a South African financial advisory and fintech company providing holistic, goal-based, and fully independent financial advice. Our mission is to empower individuals, professionals, and business owners to achieve financial freedom. Lifecheq's Adviser Recruitment Division recruits top-tier advisers for reputable firms across South Africa, ensuring that both advisers and clients benefit from world-class technology, compliance systems, and growth support. Job Purpose: The Senior Adviser Recruitment Specialist is an experienced member of the LC Recruitment team responsible for driving end-to-end recruitment delivery for one or more high-priority or higher-complexity franchise partners, while also mentoring newer recruiters, safeguarding process and documentation quality, and acting as a key escalation point between franchise partners and the Recruitment Manager. The role combines strong personal placement delivery with elements of team leadership, quality control, and input into recruitment strategy and capacity planning across the Adviser Recruitment Division. Key Responsibilities: 1. End-to-end recruitment delivery Own the full recruitment lifecycle for assigned franchise partner(s): prospecting and sourcing, initial screening interviews, candidate presentation to partners, partner interview coordination, vetting and documentation follow-through, and offer\/contracting support. Achieve and consistently exceed elevated monthly placement targets (typically 7-10 adviser placements per month), in line with partner requirements and divisional targets. Maintain a continuously replenished candidate pipeline through PNet, the ATS, LinkedIn, referrals, and partner-specific sourcing channels, guided by the approved Financial Adviser Job Specification and partner-approved candidate profile. Keep the relevant Recruitment Tracker, CRM records, and reporting fully up to date and audit-ready at all times. 2. Franchise partner relationship management Build and maintain strong working relationships with assigned Franchise Principals, Sales Managers, and Franchise Coordinators, understanding each partner's adviser requirements, value proposition, and placement timelines. Lead Partner Recruitment Strategy Meetings for new or expanding franchise partners, covering franchise overview, adviser remuneration structure, candidate profile alignment, and the end-to-end recruitment process, and finalise the resulting process documentation. Act as the first point of escalation for partner queries, delays, or process issues, resolving these directly or in consultation with the Recruitment Manager, and provide partners with regular, proactive updates on pipeline and placement progress. 3. Mentorship and team support Support the onboarding of new Adviser Recruitment Specialists during their first 30 days: help them get set up on tools and channels, build familiarity with the Adviser Recruitment Specialist Manual and partner-specific playbooks, and check in on early sourcing, screening, and pipeline activity. Model and reinforce recruitment best practice, activity discipline, and candidate experience standards for less experienced recruiters. Provide coaching and troubleshooting support to junior specialists on sourcing strategy, screening quality, and partner communication. 4. Quality control and continuous improvement Monitor placement quality and adviser retention within the first 90 days, and lead root-cause discussions where a partner's retention falls below target (e.g. flag high-attrition trends and recommend corrective action). Track conversion metrics across the recruitment funnel (sourcing → 1st interviews → CVs sent to partner → partner interviews → placements) for assigned partners, identifying bottlenecks and proposing fixes. Keep End-to-End Recruitment Process documentation, screening questions, and playbooks current as partner processes evolve, and help standardise process across partners where appropriate. 5. Strategic input and reporting Contribute recruitment activity data, capacity insights, and on-the-ground observations to divisional planning (e.g. quarterly targets, resourcing proposals, sourcing enablers) in partnership with the Recruitment Manager. Provide regular, accurate reporting on placements, activity, retention, and partner satisfaction to the Recruitment Manager and, where relevant, directly to franchise partners. Represent LC Recruitment professionally in partner-facing forums, including strategy meetings, check-ins, and escalations. Requirements: Experience and track record Minimum 2-3 years' experience in a recruitment role, ideally within financial services\/insurance adviser recruitment, high-volume sales recruitment, or a comparable target-driven placement environment. At least 12 months in an Adviser Recruitment Specialist role (or equivalent) with a demonstrated, consistent track record of meeting or exceeding monthly placement targets. Experience mentoring, buddying, or informally leading other recruiters is strongly preferred. Knowledge and skills Working knowledge of the South African financial advisory industry, including FAIS\/FSCA requirements, DOFA interpretation, RE5 accreditation, NQF Level 5 qualifications, and Fit & Proper compliance, is very advantageous. Strong sourcing capability across PNet, LinkedIn, referral networks, and applicant tracking systems. Highly organised, with rigorous CRM\/tracker discipline and strong attention to detail in reporting. Comfortable managing multiple partner relationships, competing deadlines, and a high-volume pipeline simultaneously. Proactive, resilient, and solutions-oriented, with sound judgement for when to resolve an issue directly versus escalate. Other Matric required; a relevant qualification in Human Resources, Recruitment, or Business is advantageous.
