ð About the Role
Our client in the finance industry is seeking
an experienced Senior Analyst Developers to join their
Payment Ecosystem Modernisation Programme (PEM). This initiative is transforming the national payments infrastructure, ensuring safe, efficient, and future-ready payment capabilities across Southern Africa.
You will play a critical role in
optimising and sustaining platforms (SAMOS and SADC-RTGS), extending their lifespan, and supporting ongoing operational requirements.

Design scalable, secure, and maintainable system solutions. Develop, configure, and enhance applications using Java, C#, Spring Boot, JMS (IBM MQ) , and related technologies. Support testing phases (system, integration, UAT) and resolve defects. Provide 2nd and 3rd line operational support, ensuring SLA compliance. Maintain technical documentation, deployment notes, and user guides. Perform server and application maintenance, including patches and upgrades. Ensure compliance with governance, audit, and regulatory requirements. ð¯ Required Qualifications & Experience Degree in Computer Science or equivalent. Minimum 8 years' experience as a senior developer\/technical resource in project and support environments. Strong technical expertise in: Java, C#, JDBC, JPA, Spring Boot, JMS (IBM MQ) Angular applications Microservices \/ REST APIs Unix\/Linux troubleshooting Application Performance Monitoring (APM) tools XML, XSD, XSL Exposure to GitLab or CI\/CD tools .Advantageous: Experience in payment systems , ISO15022\/ISO20022 messaging standards . ð¡ Competencies Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and documentation abilities. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Self-motivated and proactive. Skilled in SDLC processes and governance frameworks.
