You will play a key role in shaping software solutions, mentoring junior developers, and acting as a go-to expert on key technologies within the team. Duties: Work as part of a project team, reporting to an IT Manager, and collaborate closely with business stakeholders to ensure solutions align with client standards and strategic architecture Define and manage non-functional requirements, working with others to ensure these are consistently met Break down development tasks, estimate effort accurately, and ensure implementation stays aligned with architectural goals and quality standards Identify and own technical project risks and issues, including driving mitigation and resolution Mentor junior developers, share knowledge, and act as a point of expertise on key technologies within the team Job Experience & Skills Required: Qualifications: Computer Science degree, diploma, or relevant technical certification 8+ years of application development experience Solid experience across the full software development lifecycle Experience: Strong background in C#, .NET 6\/.NET Core, SQL Server, Blazor, HTML5, and CSS Experience developing web solutions and building or consuming RESTful APIs Comfortable working in an agile environment using Scrum or Kanban Previous exposure to the insurance industry and DevOps automation is advantageous Skills & Competencies: Strong planning and organisational skills, with a deadline-driven approach Excellent collaboration, communication, and interpersonal skills Sound problem-solving and decision-making ability High attention to detail and the ability to work well under pressure If you have not had any response in two weeks, please consider the vacancy application unsuccessful.
