SUMMARY:
A statutory body established in terms of section 30B of the Pension Funds Act, 24 of 1956 seeks to employ x3 Senior Assistant Adjudicators to resolve complaints in terms of the ACT in order to uphold the integrity of the pension fund industry and to protect the interests of pension fund members. Pension Funds Industry experience a MUST

POSITION INFO:

Drafting of complex and Settlement letters within time-period.
Review of draft letters.
Check the factual and legal accuracy of draft letters.
Ensure that all facts and evidence of a complaint have been properly investigated.
Ensure that all legal principles correctly identified and substantiated.
Providing ad-hoc assistance to Case Management Teams in the drafting of determinations, as and when required..
Monitor compliance with timelines for both NCU and Early Resolution Team
Propose solutions on workflow process improvement
Liaise with stakeholders to facilitate the timeous resolution of complaints across Case Management Teams etc

Minimum Requirements (not negotiable)

B Degree - LLB

7 years’ experience in supervisory role

3 years’ experience in Pension Funds Industry

Knowledge and understanding of the appropriate legislative and regulatory frameworks. (PPPFA etc.)

Attention to detail, ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines under challenging circumstances.

Advanced computer skills including Microsoft excel, power point presentation and high level of written and verbal communication.

The ability to analyse situations and to arrive at the best possible solution
