POSITION INFO:

Requirements and Responsibilities:

• Relevant Degree or Technical Qualification
• A minimum of 5 years’ experience in managing and maintaining Active Directories and related Microsoft
• Complete at least two relevant certification / skills training annually
• Partake in Technology Forums within the company
• Strong focus on creating products where teams are self-enabled, decentralized management thereof and loosely coupled high available architecture.
• The successful candidate will design and develop frameworks and applications that will enable integration of individual pieces in CI/CD pipeline, improve reliability of core systems and eliminate manual interactions. The overall idea is to bring value to the customers through simplification of development lifecycle for all colleagues.
• Ensuring proper architectural principles are followed and good quality of code is being produced
• Manage the business relationship by liaising directly with stakeholders and product owners throughout an agile development lifecycle
• Following DevOps principles and promote them to other teams
• Have a “we build it, we run it” mind set – you are responsible end to end for stability and success of your applications
• Play a lead role in identifying new ways of working, new technology that can be used, and better ways of using existing technology
• Full stack application development experience is a strong advantage
• Experience in the following technologies is beneficial: Service Fabric, Redis, Openshift, Rancher,
• ASP.NET, .Net Core, Rabbit MQ, AWS, Elastic stack, Octopus Deploy, Team City, TFS, Git, Jira, Web API
• Experience with Kubernetes and Helm
• At least basic Docker exposure
• Following and contributing to the improvement of projects and implementations within the Microsoft Services and Solution Delivery Cluster
• Provide support to Internal projects relating to Azure DevOps
• Deliver Consulting Services to the company customers, either on a short-term or long-term basis, depending on the requirements of the project
• Task prioritisation and effort estimation, using Agile Methodologies for self and team
• Assist and mentor other inexperienced consultants within current projects and at the company
• Identify and facilitate business opportunities, with specific involvement in the technical presale of potential projects
• Contribute to company Insights, including contributions to the internal company intellectual property (IP)
• Partake in technical presentations/knowledge sharing, both internally and publicly
• Attend and partake in a minimum of 90% of relevant official company events (Staff Events, Department events etc.)

Knowledge:

• Deep understanding of Microsoft Azure and related services
• Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory and related Services
• Cloud Strategy Consulting with regards to Infrastructure planning and design
• High-level understanding of Azure DevOps principles and practices
• Full understanding of CI/CD
• Knowledge and experience in automation technologies like Terraform
• Strong Scripting Tools skills in PowerShell and Azure CLI
• Knowledge of Web Services / Micro Services (REST)

Skills:

• Knowledge of Infrastructure components such as DNS, DHCP, Active Directory
• Hands on experience on Azure Site Recovery, Azure Monitor, Azure Automation, Azure Backup and Recovery
