Senior BI Developer

Qualifications:

• B.Sc. (Computer Science) or B.Sc. (Information Systems) or other relevant experience..
• Coming from the financial industry or consulting industry environment
• 5 years’ experience in developing and maintaining Microsoft Business Intelligence Suite in an enterprise environment.
• 5 years’ experience in advanced Microsoft Excel.

Skills:

• Knowledge and experience in data frameworks, practices, methodologies, and tooling (e.g., DAMA, Apache, etc.)
• Database and data warehouse design and in building logical and physical data models.
• Ralph Kimball methodologies.
• Thorough understanding of Microsoft development tools and environments including:
• MSSQL Server and Database Administration
• SQL Integration Services
• SQL Analysis Services (including Tabular Models)
• SQL Reporting Services
• SQL Master Data Services
• SQL Data Quality Services
• Microsoft Performance Point Services

Job description:

• Design and develop databases, SQL queries, stored procedures, reports, dashboards and integration
• solutions for both real time and batch environments.
• Enable and run data migrations and data integrations across different databases and different
• servers.
• Perform Unit Testing and Systems Integration Testing within the provided or recommended test
• infrastructure and standards.
• Manage and maintain the development environment including source control.
• Maintain code in TFS (Team Foundation Server) supporting multiple branches/deployment paths.
