Senior Bookkeeper

POSITION INFO:

Our client in the fruit industry is currently looking for a Senior Bookkeeper to join their team. Their office are based on a farm outside Paarl (between Paarl and Wellington).

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage all aspects of bookkeeping up until Trial Balance.
• Ensure accurate and timely recording of financial transactions.
• Reconcile accounts and maintain financial records.
• Payroll.
• Monthly Processing.
• VAT Returns.
• Creditors.
• Debtors.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Senior Bookkeeper.
• Proficient in relevant accounting software such as Xero and Sage.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

This position is based in the office and is full time, Monday-Friday, standard working hours apply.

Starting date: As soon as possible

Location: Paarl area (between Paarl and Wellington).

Salary: R30 000 - R40 000 CTC a month (depending on experience).
