This Johannesburg East-based team is ready to spark up their finance function with an Accountant who brings balance to the books and stays lit under pressure.

POSITION INFO:
They want someone ready to ignite a long-term career and stick with the company for the journey ahead. If you're all about clean audits, clear reconciliations, and committed partnerships, this might be your perfect match.

Duties Will Include (But Are Not Limited to):

Maintain financial records up to balance sheet
General ledger maintenance
Accounts receivables and payable processing and reconciliations
Bank and payment preparation and reconciliations
Foreign exchange transactions
Credit card statements and expense claim reconciliations
Process monthly journals and adjustments
Maintain the fixed asset register
Assist with month-end and year-end processes, journals and reconciliations
Manage inventory control systems and processes
Quotations, orders, invoices, stock preparation and distribution
Plan and oversee stock takes

Education Requirements:

Completed Matric (Grade 12)
Relevant tertiary qualification in accounting or finance

Job Requirements and Skills:

15+ years' experience in an accounting position essential
Sage or Pastel Evolution knowledge preferred
Knowledge of foreign transactions
Proficient in MS packages
Deadline driven
Ability to work in a high pressure, fast-paced environment
Team player
