JOB SUMMARY:
A company requires the above to be responsible for the full bookkeeping function and related financial duties within their company.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Minimum requirements for the role:

A Bookkeeping or Accounting or related qualification is preferred but not essential for the role.
Previous experience having worked as a Bookkeeper is essential for the role.
Previous experience working on Pastel Evolution is essential for the role.
Must be proficient in Microsoft Office.
Must have proven ability to meet deadlines.
Must have strong numeric skills.
Must have attention to detail together with good organisational skills.
Ability to work under own initiative as well as part of a team.
Ability to communicate with people at all levels.
Ability to meet deadlines timeously.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

Managing full bookkeeping function and related financial duties assisting the head of finance.
Capturing creditors invoices, reconciling to statements and cash books.
Sending debtors statements and journals discounts.
Conducting age analysis of creditors payments weekly.
Preparing and processing month end journals.
Assisting the head of finance in performing financial duties on a daily basis.
Handling general accounting queries.
Capturing daily payments received in AR (Accounts Receivable).
Conducting monthly adjustments of debtors ledger / (AR).
Processing payments and reconciliations, weekly and monthly.
Preparing and processing monthly journals and accruals.

Salary package, including benefits, is highly negotiable depending on experience gained.
