  We are looking for a Senior Business Analyst with extensive experience in financial services, particularly in accounting and management control, to join our team.

  The role is hybrid and based in Cape Town, on an initial 6–12 month contract.

  What you’ll do:

  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis through robust financial modelling.
  • Analyse financial data to provide actionable insights for strategic decision-making.
  • Collaborate with finance and operational teams to understand and improve accounting and management control processes.
  • Develop comprehensive business cases and detailed project plans.
  • Contribute to ongoing process improvements and identify cost-saving opportunities.
  • Facilitate workshops and meetings to gather and define business requirements.
  • Translate complex financial data into meaningful insights for non-financial stakeholders.

  Your expertise:

  • Minimum of 8 years’ experience as a Business Analyst, with a strong background in the financial services industry.
  • Proven expertise in financial modelling, including forecasting, budgeting, and performance analysis.
  • In-depth understanding of financial accounting processes and systems.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present findings, engage stakeholders at all levels, and build consensus across teams.
