Senior Business Analyst

• Analyse, refine and capture all business requirements for delivering the necessary technology service to business.
• Develop project rationale and perform scoping assessments to determine feasibility of projects.
• Manage business requirements, stakeholder requirements, solution requirements and transition requirements throughout a project lifecycle.
• Highlight/identify gaps in existing functionality and review requirements with stakeholders.
• Develop a comprehensive requirement specification that will determine the estimate of cost, time and resources to deploy solutions.
• Liaise with the service development and service integration teams to suggest high level functional solutions.
• Contribute into all business impact analysis reports to assist business relationship managers with appropriate information about new business requirements and alignment to prioritised IT roadmap.
• Develop project estimates and complete financial models (costs, savings, revenue opportunities, investment horizon, etc.).
• Ensure that relevant stakeholders are involved in specification of new services and/or major upgrades to existing services.
• Engage stakeholders as a business advisor and modeller in developing relevant services to meet stakeholder requirements.
• Provide technical / professional support to internal and external stakeholders to ensure
• achievement of functional and organisational objectives.
• Compile all required artefacts in line with the methodology in use.
• Conduct and support critical processes in the business analysis role such as Business Analysis Planning and Monitoring, Elicitation, Requirements Management and Communication, Enterprise Analysis, Requirements Analysis and Solution Assessment & Validation.
• Lead business analysis teams where required throughout a project lifecycle providing motivation and mentoring where required.
• Provide performance input into the team’s performance as well individual business analysts’ performance.
• Monitor and ensure adherence to statutory regulations, organisational standards, policies and procedures.
