SUMMARY:
The Senior Business Developer is responsible for driving revenue growth through the acquisition of new customers and the expansion of existing opportunities within the retail sales channel. This role focuses on high-value sales engagements, strategic pipeline development, and conversion of qualified leads into enrolled students, while maintaining a strong focus on customer experience and brand integrity.

Revenue Generation & Sales Delivery
- Achieve and exceed monthly and annual sales targets
- Convert qualified leads into enrolments through consultative selling techniques
- Manage the full sales cycle from initial engagement to deal closure
Pipeline & Opportunity Management- Build, manage, and maintain a high-quality sales pipeline
- Proactively identify new business opportunities through outbound and inbound channels
- Ensure accurate and up-to-date tracking of all opportunities within CRM systems
Client Engagement & Relationship Management- Engage prospective students through professional consultations (telephonic, virtual, and face-to-face where applicable)
- Understand client needs and recommend appropriate programmes
- Build trust and long-term relationships to enhance conversion and referral opportunities
Product Positioning & Market Insight- Maintain deep knowledge of company programmes, pricing, and value propositions
- Position offerings effectively against competitors within the education sector
- Provide market feedback to improve sales strategies and product offerings
Sales Excellence & Best Practice- Apply structured sales methodologies and best practices
- Maintain high standards of professionalism, ethics, and compliance in all interactions
- Ensure accurate communication of programme details, pricing, and terms
Collaboration & Continuous Improvement- Work closely with marketing, admissions, and training teams to optimise lead quality and conversion

Minimum RequirementsQualifications- Diploma or Degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or related field (advantageous)
Experience- 4–7+ years’ experience in a high-performance sales environment
- Proven track record of consistently exceeding sales targets
- Experience in retail sales, call centre sales, or education sales (preferred)
- Strong experience in consultative and solution-based selling
