Senior Buyer that has worked extensively on SAP system.

• Matric
• Relevant Purchasing Qualification would be an advantage

Requirements

• 5 Years'' experience on SAP.  Must have knowledge in MM (Materials Master) and FI Accounting System.
• Experience in the GR/IR account.
• Experience in managing open invoice query data report.
• Strong negotiating skills

Duties

• Perform stock analysis against offtake and adjust procurement batch sizes and re-order levels accordingly.
• Place orders, and manage the approval process in line with procedures and delivery urgency.
• Arrange for receipt and distribution of COC (Chain-of-Custody ) and MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheet)
• Follow up on outstanding PO’s.
• Monitor critical stock levels.
• Maintain the Vendor information in SAP via defined processes.
• Optimize procurement processes and methodologies to reduce spend.
• Ensure all importing documentation is followed through and correct.
• Negotiate price increases, improved prices and terms of business with suppliers and review opportunities to make business savings utilising negotiation and procurement best practice tools and methods.
• Consolidate tenders for services and materials.
• Source alternative supply sources.
• Measure critical supplier’s performance
• Sourcing for CAPEX spend items.
• Partake as leader or team member in Supply Chain projects and tasks as and when required.
• Ensure processes and systems are in line with group standards.
• Drive continuous improvement.
• Partake in stock takes which normally run over a weekend.
