Senior Buyer (Engineering/Foundry)

SUMMARY:
Leading engineering company requires an experienced Senior Buyer with 5 years’ related buying and project management experience in an engineering, technical or manufacturing environment.

POSITION INFO:

• Individual MUST have experience working between the foundry and machine shop as well as a relevant Degree/Diploma in Purchasing or Supply Chain management.
• ERP computer systems experience is essential together with advanced Excel skills.
• You will be responsible for purchasing of material, equipment and services to meet internal and external stakeholders’ requirements.
• Develop ideas and strategies to improve operational efficiency, add value, aid business performance and work towards a strategy of continuous improvement.
• Responsible for purchasing of material, equipment and services to meet internal and external stakeholders’ requirements timeously.
