Senior C#.net Developer

SUMMARY:
Design, Develop and Maintain a suite of C# Web-based products Projects will be all be related to the Nimbis product suite.

POSITION INFO:

Situation Required

• Reliable Home Internet connection, preferably fibre
• Reliable backup location (or backup power) for cases when power and/or internet is out.
• Only applicable if not based in commuting distance to office

 

Skills Required

Technical

• 10+ years’ experience developing scalable web applications.
• Advanced knowledge of ASP.NET, C#, and .NET 3.5/4.0/4.5.
• Expert-level knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Knowledge of Angular 7 and related frameworks
• Strong understanding of web design principles, industry standards, architecture and navigation.
• Extensive professional experience with Object-Oriented Languages.
• Knowledge of Object-Oriented Design and Object-Oriented Architecture.
• Experience with service-based architectures, preferred.
• Experience with Relational Databases; DB design, stored procedures, T-SQL, DB architecture.
• Experience with MS SQL Server 2016+ required.
• Experience with JSON web services

• Passion for designing compelling user experiences.
• Ability to work both independently and in collaboratively across cross-functional teams
• Ability to meet deadlines while multitasking across multiple projects.
• Ability to lead in creative, business, and technical discussions.

• Any Exposure to the Insurance industry would be advantageous

Support

• The developer will be required to train the help desk staff and maintain the help desk operating manuals for the
• products that he/she is assigned to work on.
• When the help desk is unable to resolve and issue, the developer will be required to assist in them in the role of second line support.
