Position: Senior CDP/Junior Sous Chef
Job Description: We are seeking a passionate and skilled Sous Chef to join our esteemed culinary team. You will work closely with our Head Chef to create and deliver a menu that embodies luxury and showcases the finest local produce. This is a unique opportunity to be part of a dynamic and dedicated team committed to providing an unforgettable dining experience for our guests.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation and design of all food and drink menus.
- Ensure that the kitchen operates in a timely manner that meets our quality standards.
- Oversee and support the preparation of food.
- Produce high-quality plates both in design and taste.
- Ensure that kitchen staff adhere to health and safety regulations.
- Provide guidance and training to kitchen staff.
- Foster a climate of cooperation and respect between co-workers.
- Maintain the highest standards of food hygiene and health & safety.
- Monitor and manage inventory and supplies.
- Coordinate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service.

- Quality of Food:
- Consistently produce high-quality dishes that meet our luxury standards.

- Ensure timely preparation and delivery of meals.
- Menu Development:

- Training & Development:
- Provide ongoing training and support to kitchen staff.

- Adhere to and enforce all health and safety regulations in the kitchen.
- Inventory Management:
- Monitor and maintain adequate inventory levels.
- Team Collaboration:
- Foster a positive and productive work environment through effective communication and teamwork.
- Adaptability:

Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Senior CDP/Junior Sous Chef or similar role.
- Knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Up-to-date knowledge of culinary trends and optimized kitchen processes.
- Strong attention to detail and creativity.
- Ability to work well in a team and under pressure.
- Culinary degree or equivalent experience is preferred.
