SUMMARY:
Calling all insurance experts for a Senior Claims Manager position at a leading insurance provider in Mozambique.

POSITION INFO:
Role's Purpose:
Lead claims operations, ensuring efficient processing and customer satisfaction. Manage a team, implement best practices, and collaborate with stakeholders.

Experience & Qualification Criteria:

Degree in Commerce, Insurance, Law or other related field
5 years of claims management experience as well as short term insurance
Certificate of proficiency in insurance, or higher
Strong knowledge of insurance principles and regulations
Excellent communication and leadership skills
Proficiency in English and Portuguese

Primary Responsibilities:

Management of a team
Providing service both internally as well as externally
Managing the budget
Accountability of the claim departments effectiveness
Performance Management: Analyzing trends and metrics to optimize operations
Reporting: Preparing reports and analyses for management review
