Senior Consultant – Executive Search

What you'll do:

Client Relationship Management

• A strong and proven track record in client relationship management, driving recurring business through world-class project execution

Executive Search + Talent Mapping

• Develop and implement effective recruitment plans from the research conducted
• Produce reports, presentations and graphs to showcase research findings
• Valuable expertise in finding best-suited candidates with a mix of top-notch experience, skills vision and character
• Determine talent mapping requirements by understanding the job requirements and qualifications
• Proactively identify and track organisation, industry, functional trends and report findings to share with the client
• Identify new research techniques to source candidates
• Achieving of bi-weekly research, monthly and annual targets
• Networking capability supported by direct dialling, proactive approaching and sourcing
• Master ability to identify relevant candidate profiles utilising a variety of sources
• Ability to build and network with relevant Industry associations and trade publications
• Experience in desktop research, job boards, advanced LI
• Screening CV’s for suitability and pre-screening of candidates
• Ring-fencing final longlist of suitable candidates for Team Lead evaluation
• Arranging assessments, smooth onboarding, regretting candidates, debriefing sessions, etc.
• In consultation with the Recruitment Team Lead:
• Sit in on interviews and take part in onboarding and inductions of new employees and monitor sessions
• Manage time effectively to balance research requests from clients
• Negotiate pay and salary rates

 

Expertise and experience:

• Matric
  Above average MS Word, PowerPoint and Excel Skills
• Relevant Diploma/Certifications in HR / General Project Management
  Undergraduate Degree (HR qualification advantageous)
• An understanding of industry/company activity / best talent
• Strong commercial business acumen – analytical and methodical in your approach to market
• Must be an excellent judge of character and results-driven
• Good interpersonal skills managed in a pressurized environment, adhering to strict deadlines and working on multiple search projects simultaneously
• Business Development experience: <2- 4> years
• Research-related experience within the recruitment industry: <4- 6> years
• Project experience: <4-6> years

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Good interpersonal skills managed in a pressurized environment, adhering to strict deadlines and working multiple vacancies simultaneously
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and adapt to changing projects and deadlines, working within a pressurized environment
