This role sits within an established regulatory & financial risk advisory team supporting leading financial services clients across local and international markets. The team specialises in credit risk, regulatory compliance, analytics, and financial modelling, working across banking and other industries such as telecoms, retail, and healthcare.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and calibrate credit risk models (PD, LGD, and EAD)
• Perform model validation, monitoring, and performance testing
• Produce portfolio‑level credit analytics and peer benchmarking
• Review client deliverables for quality, accuracy, and completeness
• Draft clear and professional project and technical reports
• Communicate project progress, challenges, and outcomes to stakeholders
• Share technical knowledge and support team development

• Education:
  
  • Undergraduate degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Financial Engineering, Actuarial Science, Engineering, Economics, or Econometrics
• Experience:
  
  • 3–5 years relevant experience within banking, financial services consulting, or a similar environment
  • Fundamental credit risk modelling experience, including predictive modelling techniques
  • Understanding of the full credit lifecycle and model risk management
  • Working knowledge of Basel regulations and the IFRS 9 standard
  • Technical exposure to PD, LGD, EAD, Basel II, and IAS 39
• Skills:
  • Strong financial modelling capability
  • Computer literacy: MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Coding skills: SAS, SAS Enterprise Guide, R and/or Python
