SUMMARY:
Our client, a JSE listed FMCG concern, currently seeking an experienced Senior Credit Controller, who will be based in Pietermaritzburg.

POSITION INFO:

Minimum Job Requirements:

Credit Management Level 2.
Finance Degree/Diploma an advantage.
Min 5 years’ experience in a Credit Controller role.
Must have Management experience.
Experience on MS Excel, Word and Syspro.

Duties and Responsivities include, but not limited to:

Debtors Control:

Check customer’s credit ratings before opening an account for a customer.
Timely and effective collection of all debts and customer payments.
Maintain contact with external (customers and depots) and internal (finance, dispatch and sales) to ensure invoices are clear for payment.
Resolve queries both internally (finance, dispatch and sales) and externally (customers and depots) around outstanding invoices, claims processing, age analysis and follow up.
Post and allocate daily receipts to Syspro. Post and email debtors statements monthly. Post breakdown of journals to debtors’ deductions.
Provide accounts information to management.
Month end reporting.

Websites and Portals:

Upload invoices and statements to the various portals of major National Retailers.
Download invoices, remittances and claims.
