As a Senior Credit Structuring Specialist, you’ll work at the intersection of strategy, risk, and innovation — structuring complex transactions that don’t just balance the books, but build the future.

You’ll collaborate with cross-functional experts — economists, engineers, and ESG advisors — to craft funding solutions for sovereign, sub-sovereign, and public sector projects across the continent. This is a space where your analytical edge, credit judgment, and commercial instinct will directly shape outcomes on the ground.

POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities:

Originate and structure large-scale, multi-sector credit transactions aligned to strategic and risk mandates.
Conduct full-spectrum credit due diligence — from financial modelling and risk mitigation to market and sector analysis.
Build innovative financing solutions (think blended finance, sustainable debt instruments, and credit enhancement tools).
Partner with internal and external stakeholders — government, sponsors, and project teams — to bring complex projects to life.
Provide expert input into credit assessments, governance reports, and investment memos for decision-making.

Job Experience and Skills Required:

Degree in Finance, Economics, Risk, Accounting, or Business (Postgrad or CFA/FRM advantageous).
8+ years’ experience in credit risk analysis, structuring, or origination — ideally in wholesale, investment, or development finance.
Proven skill in credit modelling, due diligence, and crafting risk-adjusted solutions.
Strong understanding of sovereign, infrastructure, or public sector lending.
Excellent stakeholder management and report-writing ability — you know how to make complex ideas land clearly.
