JOB DESCRIPTION:

Looking for a change!!.

Wonderful opportunity to join an established Distribution and wholesale company based on the South of Joburg

Must have at least 4-5 years working experience as a Creditors Clerk taking charge of the full function of credtors in the department witha stable track record .

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS

Preparing creditors payments (within set deadline for cash forecast), remittances and send the paid ones to respective suppliers
Loading payments is not included
Monthly creditors recons and perform correctional journals
Reviewing inter-store, manufacturing and inventory journals and queries
Attending to general creditors queries
Occasionally requesting statements from suppliers (though finance assistant duty)
Preparing claims from suppliers as discussed with the procurement department (they will serve as the link between finance and procurement)
Any adhoc requests from senior management.
Qualifications

Matric
Bookeeping diploma or studing towards BCom Accounting or completed

Skills required

Experience in working with the accounts payable module on Pastel - not negotiable
Experience in credtors function
Experience with Excel
