SUMMARY:
Our client is looking for a highly skilled Senior Data and BI Developer to join their team. They specialise in data-driven digital solutions across multiple industries. This opportunity allows you to work on cutting-edge Microsoft data platforms while collaborating directly with customers to deliver impactful business intelligence solutions.

POSITION INFO:
Requirements:

5+ years’ experience in data development and business intelligence
Strong SQL Server skills (SQL, T-SQL, SSIS, and SSRS)
Proven expertise in Power BI (DAX, Power Query, and dashboard/report design)
Hands-on experience building cloud data solutions in Microsoft Azure (Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse, Azure SQL Database, and Azure Analysis Services)
Strong understanding of data modelling, ETL workflows and performance tuning
Able to work effectively in a collaborative, customer-facing environment
Experience working in Agile development teams (e.g., Jira and Confluence)
Willingness to travel periodically for customer meetings
Relevant Microsoft certifications (advantageous):
- Azure Data Engineer Associate
- Power BI Data Analyst Associate
- Azure Solutions Architect Expert (preferred)
Microsoft Fabric, or other cloud platforms (Google BigQuery, Snowflake, and AWS)
Advanced analytics or machine learning exposure
Strong interpersonal and mentoring skills

Responsibilities:

Architect, design, and deliver BI solutions using Microsoft Azure and Power BI
Develop robust data pipelines, transformations, integrations, and models
Engage with customers to gather requirements and turn data into actionable insights
Lead and support junior team members in best-practice data delivery
Optimise workflows for performance, governance, and scalability
Contribute to cloud adoption, modernisation, and automation initiatives
Ensure a high standard of quality, reliability, and documentation
Stay current with evolving Microsoft technologies and leverage new features
